We are looking for a Store Attendant for our location in Coral Way. The Store Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service throughout Chèvre's specialty market, assisting guests with product selection, maintaining attractive and well-stocked displays, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist customers throughout the market, delivering a friendly and welcoming experienceAnswer customer questions and provide recommendations on market products, including cheeses, charcuterie, pantry items, beverages, and specialty foodsOperate the POS system accurately, handling cash, credit card, and digital transactionsStock shelves, coolers, and displays; monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needsReceive, inspect, and organize deliveries according to company standardsMaintain attractive, organized, and fully replenished product displays throughout the storeEnsure all products are properly labeled, priced, and rotated following first-in, first-out (FIFO) proceduresAssist with packaging customer purchases and preparing gift baskets, catering items, and specialty orders as neededKeep sales floor, checkout area, storage rooms, and workstations clean and sanitaryFollow food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures at all timesSupport special events, tastings, promotions, and catering operations as neededStay informed about seasonal products, promotions, and new arrivals to better assist guestsAssist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling, cleaning, and store setupQualificationsPrevious experience in retail, specialty food, market, grocery, or hospitality environments preferredExcellent customer service and communication skillsComfortable operating POS systems and handling cash transactionsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitudeFood Handler certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)Reliable, punctual, and team-orientedAbility to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periodsBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
