Main responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of daily store operations to deliver sales, profitability, and customer service goals.
• Ensure a positive shopping experience by resolving customer concerns and promoting exceptional customer service throughout the store.
• Direct, coach, and develop department leaders and store associates while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and manage store personnel, including performance management and development planning.
• Maintain high standards for store appearance, cleanliness, product quality, food safety, inventory management, and merchandising execution.
• Manage store financial performance, including labor, operating expenses, inventory control, shrink reduction, and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety standards, employment laws, payroll practices, and operational procedures.
• Review staffing plans and schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient store operations.
• Build strong relationships with customers, community partners, vendors, and internal business partners.
• Analyze business results, identify opportunities, and implement action plans to improve operational and financial performance.

Other requirements:

• Extensive retail management experience with responsibility for operational and financial performance.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a retail environment and occasionally outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service excellence.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
