Store Keeper / Electronic Meter Calibration

Local company is seeking a storekeeper / small electronic instrument calibrator for full time work in their Baton Rouge location.  This position focuses on servicing a very niche clientele of customers working in a variety of environmentally based practices. The storekeeper, being the sole individual in that dept., is responsible for, but not limited to, greeting customers, pulling orders, preparing paperwork, accepting returned equipment. evaluating repairs on equipment. receiving stock into the small warehouse and keeping the store clean and orderly. In addition this person will calibrate small electronic water and air quality meters as needed to bring them back into rental service. Being this is a specialty store the daily order volume is considered low.  Basic training will be provided followed by on the job training. 

Hours generally run from 7:30am to 5pm M-F with an hour for lunch. 

Requirements: 

• MUST PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN
• MUST HAVE UNDERSTANDING OR WORKING KNOWLEDGE CALIBRATING ELECTRONIC METERS. 
• MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK.
