Flowerama is looking for looking for hardworking, upbeat, dependable full-time Retail Manager. Our Florist and Gift store is seeking qualified applicants who have strong customer service and / or retail experience.
Essential Job Functions
Be able to perform and train the essential job functions of retail sales associates and be knowledgeable enough to oversee the floral designer so store maintains profitability.
Interview, hire, manage and terminate employees
Complete and / or audit daily bookwork
Report concerns and / or daily operations to regional leader or corporate
Manage flower dumpage and analysis for profitability
Order and manage fresh and non-perishable inventory
Conduct employee meetings, performance evaluations, and holiday game plans
Communicate effectively daily plans and requirements, and future plans and events
Maintain good housekeeping practices, appropriate care information, professional signage, and correct pricing as it fluctuates with cost of goods
Manage customer service and complaints effectively
Anticipate upcoming needs and follow industry trends through educational resources
Monitor delivery
Monitor shrinkage
Complete any other tasks as required by the regional leader or corporate
