About Roggenart

Roggenart is a European-inspired bakery café specializing in artisan breads, handcrafted pastries, gourmet sandwiches, and specialty coffee, all made fresh daily. We're passionate about quality, consistency, and creating warm, inviting spaces for our guests. And we're growing.

About the Role

We're growing our leadership team and hiring multiple Store Managers across our locations. We're looking for energetic leaders with a strong restaurant or QSR background who enjoy developing people as much as driving operations. If that's you, we want to find the right café for you in our system.

Where You'll Work

We're hiring for several locations across the Baltimore–Washington region. We'll match the right leader to the right café — tell us where you're based and we'll find the best fit. Our office is in Howard County, MD.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and supervise store staff — hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance to keep engagement and productivity high
  • Oversee daily operations: opening and closing, cash handling, POS management, and policy compliance
  • Manage inventory through accurate ordering, stocking, merchandising, and loss prevention
  • Run regular team meetings on goals, product knowledge, sales technique, and service excellence
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a great guest experience that earns repeat business
  • Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and organizational standards at all times
  • Build a team-oriented environment through smart scheduling, delegation, and motivating staff to do their best work
  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in a café or restaurant, with strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication; bilingual or multilingual a strong plus for serving diverse guests
  • Strong organization and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience with POS systems, cashiering, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Competitive salary + performance-based bonus
  • Health and dental insurance
  • Paid time off, flexible scheduling, and employee discounts
  • Growth opportunities within a locally expanding brand
  • A supportive, team-focused culture that values quality and hospitality
