About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead a fast-paced optical retail location. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive sales performance, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and build a team culture rooted in service, style, and precision.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and floor management
  • Coach, develop, and motivate a team of sales associates and opticians to hit individual and store-level goals
  • Drive revenue through strong product knowledge, upselling techniques, and a consultative sales approach
  • Ensure every customer receives a personalized, high-quality experience from frame selection through dispensing
  • Manage inventory, visual merchandising, and product replenishment to brand standards
  • Partner with the district or regional manager on performance reviews, hiring decisions, and business planning
  • Handle customer escalations with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain compliance with optical retail standards, safety protocols, and company policies

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in optical, fashion, or specialty retail
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and retain a high-performing team
  • Experience with optical dispensing, frame fitting, or working alongside licensed opticians is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
  • Flexible availability including weekends
  • ABO Certified
