Store Manager

Our Store Managers are responsible for building high-performing teams, creating an exceptional customer experience, and empowering associates to be their very best every day.

As a Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, including hiring, training, coaching, merchandising, customer engagement, sales performance, and profitability. You will create a positive, inclusive environment that develops and engages managers, associates, and customers while driving business results.

The Store Manager reports to the District Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

As the Store Manager, you will:

  • Use sales results, business trends, statistical information, and market knowledge to create action plans that achieve financial, customer service, and operational goals.
  • Address the store’s unique strengths and challenges to drive continued improvement.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge, selling behaviors, and operational skills to maximize sales.
  • Engage with customers to build relationships and increase brand loyalty using company tools and service standards.
  • Attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent.
  • Motivate team members by identifying their strengths and supporting their growth.
  • Provide and receive feedback to improve performance and develop team members.
  • Communicate clear expectations and hold yourself and the store team accountable for achieving results.
  • Ensure merchandising, visual, and operational standards are executed consistently.
  • Oversee controllable expenses, including payroll and training, to support profitability.
  • Build trust with the team while navigating different beliefs, values, and perspectives.
  • Remain composed and solution-focused when facing challenges or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Provide leadership and support with floor sets, window changes, visual updates, and merchandising expectations.
  • Perform POS transactions during designated shifts and execute management responsibilities as needed.
  • Schedule associates according to business needs and individual strengths to maximize productivity.
  • Model company values of respect, integrity, teamwork, compassion, accountability, and inclusivity.

Qualifications

You will also have:

  • 2+ years of Store Manager experience in a similar-volume apparel business preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and performance expectations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and talent development skills.
  • Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to other store locations or attend district meetings, as needed.
