As the Store Manager, you are responsible for the overall success of your branch. From financial performance and customer satisfaction to team culture and operational excellence, you set the standard every day.

What You'll Do

Lead the Business

• Drive profitable revenue growth.
• Ensure no rental opportunity is missed.
• Identify new business opportunities and partner with Outside Sales.
• Monitor key performance indicators and store profitability.
• Control expenses while improving operational efficiency.
• Make decisions that strengthen the entire company—not just your store.

Lead Your Team

• Hire, train, coach, and develop employees.
• Hold team members accountable to company expectations.
• Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary conversations when needed.
• Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Lead by example through your attitude, work ethic, and integrity.

Deliver Outstanding Customer Service

• Ensure every customer receives prompt, professional service.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and fairly.
• Build long-term customer relationships that create repeat business.
• Maintain high standards for communication, follow-up, and professionalism.

Oversee Daily Operations

• Ensure deliveries and pickups are dispatched efficiently.
• Monitor rental contracts, pricing, and documentation for accuracy.
• Oversee inventory control and equipment availability.
• Coordinate with the Service Department to maximize equipment uptime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and customer-ready facility.
• Ensure company policies and safety standards are consistently followed.

Improve the Business

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or management experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience managing employees and holding teams accountable.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Financial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and profitability.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computers and business software.
• Equipment rental, construction, industrial, or related industry experience is preferred.
