Operations Specialist – Store Operations

Our client is seeking a highly organized Operations Specialist to support the International Franchise Store Operations team. This individual contributor role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely execution of operational initiatives that support international franchise partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities, and enjoys collaborating across a variety of business functions to deliver operational excellence.

This position serves as an operations subject matter expert for international franchise teams, helping to develop and implement new operational processes while ensuring clear communication with internal stakeholders and field management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute operational projects supporting international franchise store operations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

  • Assist with developing, documenting, and implementing new operational processes and procedures.

  • Communicate operational updates, process changes, and project information to field leadership and cross-functional partners.

  • Serve as the primary operations resource for international franchise teams, providing guidance and operational support.

  • Collaborate with internal departments including Store Operations, Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and external franchise partners to ensure successful project execution.

  • Track project milestones, identify potential risks, and escalate issues when appropriate.

  • Maintain operational documentation, reporting, and project status updates.

  • Analyze operational processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and consistency.

  • Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects as business needs arise.

  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 0–2 years of experience in Store Operations, Retail Operations, Project Coordination, or a related business function.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities across all organizational levels.

  • Demonstrated customer service mindset with a focus on delivering quality results.

  • Sound judgment with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting retail operations or franchise operations.

  • Exposure to project coordination or process improvement initiatives.

  • Experience working with cross-functional business teams.

  • Familiarity with operational reporting and documentation.
