Description
The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Store Planner for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Marlborough, MA. Details for the position are as follows:
Location: Marlborough, MA
Pay Rate: $35.00–$44.00/hour, based on years of experience
Duration: 12 Months (with potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Store Planner to develop fixture plans, architectural layouts, and criteria drawings for new stores, relocations, expansions, remodels, and special projects. This role will make site-specific design and layout decisions while ensuring plans meet company standards, construction requirements, budget guidelines, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop fixture plans, architectural layouts, and site-specific drawings for new stores, relocations, expansions, remodels, and special projects.
- Gather and analyze project data to develop efficient store layouts, including support areas, department adjacencies, and operational requirements.
- Create architectural drawings that meet company standards, construction specifications, budget requirements, lease requirements, and project schedules.
- Use AutoCAD and Revit to develop and modify architectural and store planning drawings.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD/ACAD – required.
- Working knowledge of Revit – required
- Experience creating or modifying architectural drawings and layouts.
- Experience with retail store and/or fixture layout preferred.
Preferred Education
- Associate Degree or Certificate in Architecture, Architectural Engineering Technology, or Interior Design, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is a plus.
