Harrison Steel Castings Co. has an opening for a Fork Truck Operator

Responsibilities include providing fork truck service to the Store Room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate fork truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Handle and store supplies in such a manner as to prevent damage.
• Deliver supplies to departments.
• Unload incoming materials from and load empty containers into trucks.
• Maintain housekeeping of the outer storage buildings and areas outside of the main building.
• Know the required procedures of receiving, handling, and storage of purchased materials.
• Perform inventory of supplies including within inventory tracking systems.
• Wear required safety equipment.
• Follows job work instructions and training matrix, where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Basic math & reading skills
• Makes timely decisions
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
• Works safely and observes all safety procedures
• Valid state issued driver's license required
