Job Summary:

The Storekeeper is responsible for handling, receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory within the warehouse while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards. This role supports warehouse operations through accurate material handling, inventory control, shipping/receiving activities, and maintaining organized warehouse conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and safe material handling practices.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspecting, labeling, receiving, storing, picking, packing, issuing, and disposal of inventory materials
  • Execute material handling and warehouse movement activities in compliance with company standards and procedures
  • Verify incoming supplier shipments against packing lists and purchase orders, reporting discrepancies promptly
  • Ensure all outgoing shipments are properly packed with complete and accurate documentation
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards in shipping and receiving areas
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Support Kitting, Kanban replenishment, and other warehouse material management initiatives
  • Optimize warehouse bin locations to improve operational efficiency and workplace safety
  • Investigate and resolve inventory or warehouse-related issues under Supervisor guidance
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment upon training and certification completion
  • Utilize inventory management systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse software for accurate inventory tracking
  • Follow FIFO / FEFO inventory practices and warehouse storage procedures
  • Ensure compliance with company QHSE policies, warehouse safety standards, and documentation procedures
  • Support additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High school diploma or technical education required
  • Technical or vocational training in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations preferred
  • 1–3 years of warehouse, inventory control, or materials management experience preferred
  • Experience with material receiving, issuing, storage, and stock reconciliation
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar inventory platforms
  • Ability to operate barcode scanners and warehouse management systems
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, email, and data entry
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and safe material handling practices
  • Reliable, accountable, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
