Storekeeper
Job Location: Modesto, California
Job Type: Temporary - Part Time
Pay Rate: $22.36-$27.18/hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday; 6:30am-3pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Storekeeper with inventory experience? Our client is looking for a dependable and customer-focused professional to join our client's warehouse team in Modesto. This is a part-time, ongoing assignment expected to last 3-6 months, offering 20-30 hours per week. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a team environment and takes pride in keeping inventory accurate and organized. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and committed to providing excellent customer service while supporting daily warehouse operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, unpack, and organize incoming materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine inventory counts
- Issue materials and equipment to authorized personnel
- Process warehouse requests, including over the counter, email, and fax orders
- Prepare and ship outgoing packages using UPS
- Assist with surplus inventory processing and organization
- Pick up inventory from local vendors as needed
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and departments
- Follow all safety policies and procedures

Experience Required:
- Previous inventory, warehouse, or storekeeping experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and assist with a variety of tasks
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Forklift experience is a plus
