Location: High Point, NC

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift | 6 AM - 2:30 PM (2nd Shift | 2 PM - 11:30 PM) 3rd Shift | 10 PM - 6:30 AM

As a Storeroom Attendant, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are accurately received, stocked, tracked, and issued. You'll use inventory systems to maintain inventory accuracy, support cycle counts, and help create a safe, organized storeroom environment while providing excellent service to employees and site personnel.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 2-3 years of inventory control, storeroom, warehouse, or material handling experience
• Strong computer skills with experience entering and maintaining inventory records
• Ability to accurately track, organize, and manage inventory
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials, tools, and equipment
• Sort, label, stock, and organize inventory within the storeroom
• Issue materials, tools, and equipment to employees while maintaining accurate records
• Enter and update inventory information in computerized inventory management systems
• Monitor inventory levels and request replenishment as needed
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
• Inspect tools and equipment for wear, damage, or defects
• Deliver tools and equipment to work areas as required
• Investigate missing inventory and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional storeroom environment

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to wear required steel toed shoes
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

What You Will Do

As a Storeroom Attendant you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
