We are seeking a Storeroom Attendant for a 1st shift temp-to-hire integrated supply operation embedded at a customer facility in Horicon, WI.
**Role Overview**
The Storeroom Attendant fulfills daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and Vallen inventory. This is a customer-facing position requiring strong customer service skills and mechanical aptitude. The attendant issues parts directly to plant employees and manages the storeroom independently.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Unload, receive, and put away incoming product, goods, tools, and equipment
- Sort, label, move, and store items on racks, shelves, or bins
- Issue product, goods, tools, and equipment to site employees; maintain accurate records
- Enter data into computerized systems; document discrepancies
- Perform cycle counts and prepare report results
- Stock POU areas with janitorial supplies, vending machines, tools, and PPE materials
- Issue parts to customers; deliver tools and equipment to work locations
- Inspect tools and equipment for defects; may repair, service, and lubricate as required
**Requirements**
- 3+ months of relevant storeroom, warehouse, or distribution experience
- Strong customer service skills — customer-facing role, issues parts to plant employees
- Computer proficiency — will use Excel catalog to search for parts
- Mechanical aptitude — ability to identify parts and tools
- Self-motivated; able to work independently
- Steel toe shoes WITH internal metatarsals required (standard steel toe not sufficient)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Available for Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM CST
**Nice to Have**
- SAP or SX.e experience
- Tool crib or MRO storeroom experience
**Schedule**
Onsite | 1st Shift: Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–2:30 PM CST | 40 hours/week
Temp-to-Hire | 3-month contract (Jul 6–Oct 6, 2026)
