We're Hiring: Storeroom Attendant!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Storeroom Attendant to manage inventory operations and maintain efficient storage systems. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate tracking of materials, maintain organized storage areas, and support smooth warehouse operations through careful inventory management and timely distribution of supplies.

What You'll Do:
Compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise,
or supplies stocked in establishment
∙Count material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory
records, manually or using computer
∙Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or
count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies
∙Mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool
∙Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish
inventory
∙Compile information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or
supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost
∙Determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature,
humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space
∙Classify, label, and warehouse all inventory
∙Maintain an organized store room
∙May distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued
∙Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear
∙Prepare reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages
∙Reconcile the inventory records for a complete and accurate count
∙Ensure accurate and efficient receiving and shipping of products/components
∙Control cost in assigned area of responsibility
∙Understand and act upon instruction / work independently to complete responsibilities
∙Must have regular, reliable attendance
∙Other duties may be assigned as workload dictates
What We're Looking For:
∙At least 1 year prior related experience
∙Some Shipyard Experience Preferred
∙Must be able to lift 50lbs
∙Some Computer Experience Preferred
∙High school diploma or equivalent
∙Mechanical aptitude, along with a working knowledge of various hand tools, materials and
equipment used in shipyard repair operations is preferred
∙Must be able to work nights and weekends
∙Previous experience in a tool crib environment is required
∙Must have tool setup experience
∙Must be reliable and have a good attendance record
∙Must be able to work effectively with others
∙Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions
