Shift: 7AM to 3:30PM, weekends and holidays as needed

Purchase, receive, and store all food and supply orders in accordance with departmental procedures and health department guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Store received product in assigned location in an organized manner, to include proper stock rotation and the dating of each product.
  • Inspect and store all deliveries according to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP and department procedures.
  • Communicate any food safety or product quality concerns immediately to supervisor.
  • Use and maintains equipment according to manufacturer and department guidelines; follow all safety procedures.
  • Consistently adhere to Safety Data Sheet (SDS information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship and demonstrate excellent customer service skills at all times with vendors, delivery drivers, and coworkers.

Receiving Shipments and Inventory Management:

  • Receive shipments from vendors; document receipt of each item as identified by the order guide.
  • Identify discrepancies and communicate to supervisor.
  • Receive shipments from trucking companies, UPS, and special delivery distributors according to established procedures.
  • Monitor and record temperatures according to operation guidelines.
  • Complete accurate and timely inventories; develop and place orders according to operation schedules and procedures.

Facility Maintenance and Sanitation:

  • Maintain inspection-readiness of all storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers.
  • Collect and remove trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures.
  • Adhere to recycling guidelines.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma/GED OR 1 YR previous job experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Act 34
