Essential Duties and Qualifications:
• Must be able to perform construction stormwater inspections in the North and Central Alabama regional areas.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Experience in stormwater inspection services, erosion control installation and maintenance, construction or environmental science is preferred.
• Self-directed and able to identify properly installed BMPs and communicate verbally and in written form areas where BMP maintenance and/or modification is needed.
• Ability to demonstrate strong technical understanding of general site development and construction methodologies coupled with the desire and ability to work outside.
• Detail oriented with inspections noting site conditions/issues.
• Use of proper PPE and safety equipment.
• Capable of completing inspection within permit and/or client directed time constraints.
• Ability to input inspections from a phone or tablet while on site.
• Additional tasks and duties as assigned.
Environment- Work is performed primarily in an outdoor field environment; travel from site to site; exposure to noise, dust, and all types of weather and temperature conditions; exposure to hazardous traffic conditions; work and/or walk on various types of surfaces including slippery or uneven surfaces and rough terrain.
