Duties

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
• Deliver Mattresses, Adjustable Bases and other bedding products directly to customers’ locations while providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery logs.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Handle heavy lifting of packages and goods during loading, unloading, and delivery processes with proper technique to prevent injury.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a box truck delivery driver, preferably with route driving familiarity.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable. Class A or B CDL preferred. New CDL Graduates accepted.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100lbs with Team member assistance) and manual labor safely during loading and unloading tasks.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving.
