The Role:xc2xa0We are seeking an Strategic Account Manager who will be responsible for selling and presenting Varonisxe2x80x99 products and services to current andxc2xa0net-new prospectivexc2xa0enterprisexc2xa0accounts. Thexc2xa0Varonis Account Managerxc2xa0will be aligned with a local Sales Engineer.xc2xa0Thexc2xa0goal, as a team, will bexc2xa0to buildxc2xa0a strong business justification to the end user, while ensuringxc2xa0that the given annual quota is met/exceeded.xc2xa0
We are seeking candidates based in or near the New York City Metro area.

The Requirements:
- 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience/preferably selling computer software.xc2xa0
- Security Softwarexc2xa0industry experience preferred.
- Salesforcexc2xa0and Microsoft Outlook skills preferred.
- Prior experience selling software products throughxc2xa0use ofxc2xa0channel partnersxc2xa0is a plus.
- Strongxc2xa0communication andxc2xa0presentation skills.
- A healthy list of pre-established and prospective contacts in a given territory.
- Willingness to learn technical aspectsxc2xa0of selling the Varonis product.
- Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree from a four-year College/Universityxc2xa0is preferred.xc2xa0

The Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identifyxc2xa0key decision makers within the targeted leads.
- Present and sell Varonisxe2x80x99 products and services toxc2xa0current and potential clients.
- Follow up on leads and referrals resulting from field activity,xc2xa0whilexc2xa0maintaining and expanding the database of contacts within the targeted organizations.
- Uphold sales activitiesxc2xa0which includexc2xa0prospecting, cold calling, booking appointments, performing demos, and creating proposals.
- Present to C-Level prospective clients as well as to resellers through effective and enticing product demonstrations.
- Partner with Sales Managers and Channel Managers to determine a strategic sales approach.
- Establish and maintain current customer relationships by responding to customer requests and managing/resolving customer issues.
- Support the reseller communication channel throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate account information and activity details in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows when necessary.
- Percent of travel varies by territory.

Salary: USD 350000 - 250000 Annually

n The abovementioned salary range depends on the candidatexe2x80x99s experience, qualifications, and abilities.
n If the salary indicated above is on an annual basis, it may include a target-based commission component.
n The salary shall be paid on a semi-monthly basis.
