Strategic Advisers Quantitative Research Intern - Master's and PhD students

The Role

Fidelity is seeking a Quantitative Research Intern to join the Strategic Advisers, LLC (SAI) team within the Asset Management Division. Interns will support the investment process by working with a team of Quantitative Researchers on an investment research or portfolio construction project. Projects include single- and multi-asset managed account applications for both public and/or private markets.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Class of 2028, master’s or PhD degree in financial mathematics, engineering, science, or related field 

• Experience using Python/R, SQL, Tableau, AI tools

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated experience, interest, and sill in quantitative analyst and/or research

• Academic exposure or intellectual interest in financial markets

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate findings

The base salary range for this position is $50 - $77 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
