Strategic Deals Analysts support deal teams, corporate development, and investment committees by analyzing potential transactions, evaluating strategic opportunities, and assisting with execution across M&A, private equity, and venture capital deals.
This role blends financial analysis, market research, and strategic insight in fast-paced deal environments. Analysts work closely with senior dealmakers, portfolio managers, and cross-functional teams to identify, structure, and support high-impact transactions.
Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning for potential acquisitions, investments, or partnerships
Support due diligence efforts, including market, competitive, and operational research
Assist in preparing pitch materials, investment memos, and strategic presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Monitor and track deal pipelines, industry trends, and strategic opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess deal feasibility and potential synergies
Assist in post-deal integration planning, reporting, and performance tracking
Prepare regular updates and ad-hoc reports for senior management and investment committees
Identify opportunities to improve deal processes, workflow efficiency, and strategic insights
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
Understanding of M&A, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development processes
Experience or coursework in financial modeling, valuation, or strategic analysis (preferred but not required)
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools; familiarity with SQL, Python, or VBA is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in fast-paced, deal-driven environments
