    Job Description:

    Parsons is seeking a highly talented Strategic Functional Specialist/Advisor to join our Mission Assurance Branch. In this pivotal role, you will align daily operations with long-term enterprise objectives, lead the development and execution of multiyear strategic plans, and support governance, continuity, and mission assurance frameworks.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Lead and Mentor: Lead and mentor Functional Analysts in achieving performance objectives while fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

    • Resource & Task Management: Coordinate assignments, manage schedules and resource requests, resolve competing priorities, and maintain task visibility for government leadership and other stakeholders.

    • Strategic Planning & Compliance:Develop, coordinate, and execute multiyear strategic management plans supporting the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), National Geospatial-Intelligence Operations Center (NGOC), and PI&ID missions. Ensure that all plans align with applicable national-level, Department of Defense (DoD), Office of the Director of National Intelligence and Intelligence Community (ODNI/IC), National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) guidelines.

    • Policy & Communication: Draft, coordinate, and publish NGA policies and procedures. Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings, status updates, and recommendations to government leadership.

    • Performance & Special Projects: Capture, analyze, and report branch performance metrics. Lead special projects and strategic initiatives through structured problem-solving, effective risk management, and optimized use of operational resources.

    • Professional Development: Complete all required training and professional development activities as directed by government leadership.

    Required Clearance:

    • Must be a U.S. citizen

    • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, plus 5+ years of relevant experience (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

    • Proven program management experience, including a strong record of translating complex operational data into actionable recommendations for executive decision-makers.

    • Advanced knowledge of Federal Continuity Directives (FCD) 1 and 2, Department of Defense Mission Assurance strategies, and Intelligence Community continuity policies.

    • Working knowledge of federal continuity principles, policies, and practices, including continuity planning, risk assessment, identification of essential functions, and continuity program management, sufficient to support mission assurance activities.

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex strategies, risk assessments, and performance metrics to senior executives and diverse stakeholder groups.

    • Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives, making sound decisions in uncertain and changing environments, and optimizing operational resources.

    • Experience leading special projects and strategic initiatives in dynamic, high-pressure environments.

    • Expertise in drafting executive-level white papers, strategic plans, policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures, with extensive experience presenting information and recommendations to senior government officials.

    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.


    What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

    • Proficiency with standard business applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

    • FEMA Level 1 certification, or the ability to obtain the required certification within six months of hire.

    Security Clearance Requirement:

    An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​

    Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
