The Strategic Operations Manager, Health Sciences serves as a strategic partner to the Vice President of Health Sciences, driving key initiatives, improving operational effectiveness, and ensuring alignment across the division.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex projects, influencing stakeholders, and supporting executive-level decision-making. The Strategic Operations Manager plays a critical role in advancing divisional priorities, improving internal processes, and enabling leadership to operate efficiently and effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Health Sciences or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or executive-level support.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
- Experience in higher education, healthcare, or a related field.
- Experience supporting senior leads or executives.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma)
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
Essential Duties

- Partner closely with the VP to advance strategic priorities and key initiatives.
- Manage executive workflows, priorities, and follow-through on critical actions.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board to support decision-making.
Project & Operational Support
- Lead and manage high-impact, cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
- Track progress against divisional goals, ensuring accountability and timely delivery.
- Develop projects plans, timelines, and status updates for leadership visibility.
- Identify risks, remove barriers, and ensure successful outcomes.
