Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor"s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics, OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in conducting market research and evaluating business proposals with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, strategy, and legal teams.
  • Experience with online advertising or ad business generation solutions (e.g., Google Ad manager, AdSense, AdMob) or knowledge of the programmatic advertising space.
  • Ability to identify and assess potential business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders.

About the job

As a part of the Global Partnerships Sellside team, you will be providing great service, creating innovative solutions, and most importantly, having amazing people. You will have an open and collaborative culture, where Googlers feel supported and able to do their best work. You will partner with online publishers and app developers to grow their businesses using a portfolio of products including, AdMob, and Google Ad Manager.

In this role, you will drive a solutions-based approach across advertising and analytics to find new opportunities for partners, helping them better engage users and advertisers. You will contribute to a platform trusted by over a million partners worldwide, supporting Google"s position as a leading enabler of digital content globally.

As a Strategic Partner Development Associate, you will be part of a fast-growing and entrepreneurial team within the Global Partnerships Sellside. You will work closely with some of the largest and most strategic apps developers and partners in the market. You will have a opportunity to collaborate with Google's Product and Go-to-Market teams to ensure we build and deploy industry-leading solutions, as strategic partner managers are innovators, encouraged to think big and collaborate with teammates to explore new solutions that meet the evolving needs of Google's partners.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google"s partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $89500 - $128000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of sellside mobile apps partners, helping them drive long-term sustainable business and customer satisfaction with Google's suite of display ad solutions.
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships with partners by becoming a trusted advisor, providing business and product expertise, and by providing exceptional customer support.
  • Ensure customers stay up-to-date on various Google products, features and optimizations.
  • Identify business and product opportunities via data-driven analysis to expand Google's platform.
  • Collaborate with a variety of teams at Google (e.g., Product, Technical Support, Marketing) to ensure publisher partners have access to the resources they need to succeed.
