    Description

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
    • Experience in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-Commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
    • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
    • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Background in engineering is preferred.
    • Experience leading and closing complex partnership agreements, including negotiation, structuring, and implementation.
    • Strong problem solving and financial modeling skills, with the ability to assess partnership opportunities and develop business cases.
    • Excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to build consensus and influence stakeholders at all levels.

    About the job

    As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.

    As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager for Android partnerships, you will manage all aspects of technology partnerships to enable new partners and OEMs through deep collaboration with technology platform providers, with a specific emphasis on the growth and success of targeted price segment.

    The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

    Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $112000 - $162000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefitsLearn more about benefits at Google.

    Responsibilities

    • Be an enabler for product, strategy and engineering leads to drive their priorities with key platform/technology partners to enable Android's objectives of scale and growth in targeted regions and geographies.
    • Lead facilitation and execution of terms/agreements with partners, from driving adoption and scale.
    • Manage and optimize ongoing operational aspects of strategic partnerships. Program manage and developing key performance indicators to measure impact and success.
    • Collaborate with adjacent Android strategy and partnership teams proactively developing and delivering initiatives that drive developing partner growth and success.
    • Work with executive leaders and cross-functional teams in bridging internal and external priorities.
