Job role:

On-site role at WHQ; typical work hours, WFH Fridays

Minimum undergrad degree required

10+ years experience in a strategic planning role

Top must-have skills include the following:

Strategic planning/thinking/forecasting

Project management

High impact written communication.

Desired soft skills:

Ability to build relationships quickly

Ability to navigate executive stakeholders

Bias for action

Previous Client experience HIGHLY preferred due to short engagement length; those candidates will be prioritized

Otherwise, experience in the apparel industry will be preferred

Reponsibilities:

• The nature of the work is focused on short-term or long-term business direction, goals, processes, and purchases.

General Analysis:

• Develops strategic plan(s) to ensure the continued successful growth and profitability.
• Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies. Identifies, investigates, evaluates and negotiates acquisitions/divestit res, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organization's long-range goals.

Strategic Business Planning Process:

• Drive a planning process in which all gates and dates are clearly understood and that result in all Corporate planning deliverables being met.
• Monitor factors that would indicate the need for redirection of strategy.

Measurement:

• Lead the process of developing strategic initiatives and objectives for the current year and the 3year Strategic Plan at the Regional Level, and work with business units/functions to ensure objectives are aligned and integrated
• Identify relevant measures and drive accountability for ongoing performance against business and strategic objectives by preparing for and help leading Quarterly Business Review process.

Qualification:

• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 10 years directly relevant experience; experience should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: - PhD or Law + 8 yrs; Masters + 9 yrs; Associates degree + 11 yrs; High School + 12 yrs.
