This position provides strategic planning and business development support, including, business planning, market research, data mining, customized analysis, and well synthesized and presented findings. This position is responsible for the accuracy of measurement tracking and analysis of internal and external data and other predictive indicators of the competitive environment for the system. The incumbent must demonstrate project management skills, working knowledge in MS Office suite, experience with using analytic tools, and a basic understanding of diagnosis and procedure coding systems (MSDRG, ICD-10, CPT). Experience with using the MIDB/MODB (Data Koala), mapping software and commercial claims data is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Business, Healthcare Management, Economics, or a Quantitative Discipline. Plus 1-3 years of experience in a strategy or quantitative analytics role or equivalent combination, Healthcare experience preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to view computer screens and attend to small detail work for intermittent periods.
Hand/eye coordination. Motor skills. Repetitive motion associated with computer usage. Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 10 pounds. Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time. Good eyesight as work is overwhelmingly visual.
