    JOB SUMMARY

    We are seeking a Strategic Services Associate to support the Duke Health Integrated Practice network management and clinical planning activities by analyzing provider network needs, service line capacity, market demand, access opportunities, and operational performance. Partners with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to identify gaps, develop recommendations, support implementation, and monitor the impact of network and clinical growth initiatives.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead analyses related to provider network performance, clinical service planning, access, capacity, referral patterns, market positioning, and growth opportunities. Collaborate with DHIP, service line, and operational leadership to define network management priorities and clinical planning recommendations.
    • Develop, maintain, and optimize datasets, dashboards, and planning tools that support network management, clinical program development, and service line decision-making. Prepare and evaluate supporting analyses to identify barriers, gaps, and opportunities in care delivery, patient access, and clinical growth.
    • Participate in development and regular production of network and clinical planning reports, including market assessments, provider supply and demand analyses, access metrics, geographic mapping, and performance summaries. Incorporate Excel graphics, PowerPoint presentations, and mapping tools as appropriate to communicate findings clearly.
    • Support organizational efforts to manage and financially model annual compensation planning processes for clinicians. Integrate market, access, finance, operational, and clinical data to inform service line growth, recruitment planning, and community practice strategy.
    • Provide analytical and project management of service lines, and community practices on network management, clinical planning, provider alignment, and implementation of strategic growth initiatives.

    JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required.
    • Minimum of 3 years work experience, including experience with significant responsibility for performance/ process improvement. A Masters degree can substitute for two years of experience.
    • Demonstrated business integrity and ability to ensure deadlines are met, including re-establishing priorities as necessary.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior grammar and proofreading skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization. Demonstrate a professional and adaptable demeanor with internal and external clients, including administrators, physicians, peers, and support staff.
    • Exhibit a high energy level, and demonstrate the ability to work as a team, with flexibility in work habits to schedule and meet the needs of the team.
    • Proven track record of exceptional customer service skills.
    • The ability to multi-task, planning and prioritizing a large volume of detail-oriented work in accordance with changing deadlines.
    • The ability to work with minimum supervision, set priorities, and follow through to accomplish results.
    • Familiarity with physician compensation planning and incentive structures
    • Strong computer technology skills including, but not limited to: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SmartSheet, OneNote, and Survey Monkey.
    • Valid driver's license required and means of transportation.
    • Demonstrable ability to perform analysis of data and recommend opportunities for improvement.
    • Ability to manage numerous diverse projects simultaneously through effective priority setting, efficient use of time, well organization.

    JOB HOURS

    The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
