We are making a positive impact and we want you to be a part of it!This position represents L-H Battery in sourcing activities, developing sourcing strategies, documenting the strategies, formulating policies, assisting in developing key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluating supplier performance, weekly to monthly reporting of group activity, interacting with all areas of the sourcing team.Responsibilities:Analyze existing sourcing processes and work to implement efficiencies.Resolve day-to-day issues and promote operational excellence in consistency.Lead or support competitive bidding processes including: RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.Evaluate supplier proposals using total cost of ownership (TCO) methodologies.Assist in negotiating pricing, commercial terms, and service agreements.Interact with all stakeholders internally as well as externally for everyday sourcing operations.Evaluate procurement metrics by measuring supplier performance and internal performance.Identify projects scopes, schedules and costs collaborating with procurement buyers.Evaluate sourcing landscape and work with buyers to strategize and document sourcing strategies.Project industry trends to implement appropriate responses and contingency measures.Report on competitive intelligence, as well as market and consumer trends.Source suppliers from existing supplier base, while also seeking and qualifying potential new suppliers.Perform other duties as assigned.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in General Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, or relevant experience.0 to 2+ plus years of experience in related fieldKnowledge/Skills:Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc..)Strong analytical skillsStrong problem solving and decision-making skillsGood time management and prioritization skillsStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenPrompt and regular attendance within our onsite operationsAdditional Requirements:This role requires up to 0-5% of travel (domestic and/or international)**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
