Strategic Sourcing Manager

Introduction

As a key player in the Direct Procurement team, you will be responsible for strategic sourcing and industry partnerships. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to meet the needs for third-party engagement, evaluating potential partners and suppliers, leading negotiations, managing commercial and supply chain issues, and identifying cost reduction opportunities. Expertise in areas such as electronics, powertrain, chassis, body, safety systems, EV charging, fleet maintenance, or capital equipment is essential.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in partnership development and/or purchasing in a hardware product environment
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strategic sourcing, financial and business opportunity analysis, comfort with legal frameworks, and contract negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Excellent analytical skills
• Advanced Client Excel skills
• Prior work experience in the client's industry

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and partnership initiatives for vehicle direct materials and/or operations infrastructure
• Engage with stakeholders to derive and execute the business and technology roadmap
• Develop the supply chain and partnership footprint with a strategic view
