Position Overview:
The Siemens Americas Channel team is seeking a highly motivated AI, Automation & Process Improvement Intern to help identify, design, and implement business process improvements using AI, automation, and modern productivity tools. Interns will work alongside business leaders and subject matter experts to transform manual processes into scalable solutions that improve productivity across sales, partner management, enablement, and operations.
This role provides hands-on experience applying AI and automation technologies to real business challenges. Interns will participate in the complete solution lifecycle including requirements gathering, process analysis, prototype development, testing, documentation, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
AI-assisted content generation and research, Sales and partner prospecting automation, Onboarding process automation, Reporting and dashboard development, Data collection and analysis, Knowledge management and process documentation, Business workflow optimization and
Copilot and generative AI use case development.
Requirements:
Pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (at least 2 days in our Livonia, MI office) within the United States of America.
Experience with Python, Excel, Power Platform, low-code development tools, or similar technologies.
Strong interest in AI, automation, and process improvement.
Ability to translate business problems into practical solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work collaboratively while managing assigned projects independently.
A successful intern will deliver business-impacting projects, develop practical experience with AI and automation technologies, and create solutions that can be maintained and expanded by the organization after their internship concludes.

You'll Benefit From
The hourly pay range for this position $18 - $50 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
