Summary

• Drive competitive intelligence research supporting Reality Labs (VR, AR, Wearables, and Horizon).
• Analyze industry trends, competitors, technologies, and consumer needs to influence long-term product strategy.
• Build and maintain data-driven benchmarking models, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations.
• Leverage AI tools (LLMs), SQL, and advanced analytics to accelerate research and generate strategic insights.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and present recommendations that influence product decisions.

 
Must-Have Skills

• 4+ years in consulting, corporate strategy, data analytics/data science, business operations, or program management.
• 2+ years leading projects involving data strategy, analytics, or data science in consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or similar environments.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL (comfortable writing queries and working with large datasets).
• Strong data analysis, modeling, and data visualization experience.
• Experience using AI tools (LLMs) to accelerate research and analysis.
• Strong research and competitive intelligence capabilities.
• Ability to structure ambiguous business problems into decision-ready recommendations.
• High ownership with the ability to independently manage projects.
• Experience presenting insights to leadership and influencing strategic/product decisions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

 
Nice-to-Have Skills

• Master's degree (MBA or related quantitative field).
• 5+ years of relevant strategy/consulting/business operations experience.
• Experience in VR, AR, gaming, wearables, consumer hardware, or broader consumer internet.
• Experience at top consulting firms, investment banks, or leading technology companies.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree from a leading institution.
