Strategist IV
As a Strategist IV, you will support the Product Strategy team by helping shape long-term product direction, monitoring industry trends, identifying consumer needs, structuring ambiguous business problems, and translating qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable recommendations for product leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Use third-party and internal data sources to compile, organize, and maintain benchmarking data on an ongoing basis.
- Transform raw data into clear tables, charts, graphs, dashboards, and presentation-ready materials.
- Conduct research across external and internal sources to identify industry trends, market shifts, consumer behavior patterns, and competitive insights.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into strategic insights for senior stakeholders.
- Support data-heavy workflows, including large datasets, financial or business modeling, and recurring reporting.
- Partner cross-functionally with strategy, product, data, engineering, and business teams to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable work.
- Build and present clear recommendations that help inform product and business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, data analytics, data science, business operations, program management, product strategy, or a related analytical role.
- 2+ years of experience leading projects involving data strategy, analytics, data science, business analysis, or strategic decision support.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including modeling, formulas, charts, and structured analysis.
- Strong PowerPoint or Google Slides skills, with experience building leadership-ready presentations.
- Knowledge of SQL and comfort working with data to answer business questions.
- Experience structuring and solving ambiguous analytical problems.
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.
- Experience presenting insights to leadership and influencing product, strategy, or business decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, analytics, engineering, economics, or another quantitative discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, investment banking, product strategy, analytics, or program management.
- Experience in consumer technology, internet platforms, advertising, media, entertainment, AI, marketplace, or digital products.
- Experience with benchmarking, competitive intelligence, market research, industry insights, or third-party data sources.
- Strong ability to synthesize complex information into concise executive narratives.
- Experience working with large datasets, business models, dashboards, or recurring executive reporting.
