    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 4 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • MBA or other advanced degree.
    • Experience developing and executing complex operational initiatives along with excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in implementing initiatives in a change-oriented, fluid environment.
    • Experience in change management to transform an organization’s culture and operations.
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to take complex, ambitious topics and create engaging narratives for different audiences.

    As a Strategy and Operations Senior Associate, you will be part of a team providing project leadership to solve strategic questions in the gTech organization. This role will require you to develop solutions to complex and ambiguous business problems and opportunities. You will work in close partnership with gTech teams and Strategy and Operations colleagues across the regions. You are a collaborative, data-driven problem solver who is able to effectively lead and manage multiple work streams, projects, and stakeholders across time zones on a global scale. You will be working with key partners across gTech to lead and support a mix of strategic and operational projects. You will also support the development of plans and recommendations for global and regional projects.The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
    Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $124000 - $178000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefitsLearn more about benefits at Google.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, supporting the leadership on key strategic initiatives and building operational excellence, helping chart out and fulfill big bets for the business in line with the leadership’s strategic direction.
    • Problem solve with executive leaders to deliver strategic insights and recommendations based on business analyses to drive projects and initiatives forward.
    • Project manage major strategic initiatives across multiple gTech teams and engage Google-wide stakeholders when needed (e.g., projects that cross-Product, Sales, Marketing, and Policy).
    • Launch and land organizational change management plans for mid- to long-term transformational initiatives.
