Job Family: Management Consulting Travel Required: Up to 75%+ Clearance Required: None What You Will Do: Focus primarily on helping drive business development efforts across New York City government clients, expanding our footprint with strategy and technology consulting areas Lead delivery teams on high impact State & Local Government client engagements Establish approaches to gather information from clients regarding client structure, process, technology and culture Facilitate meetings with client stakeholders to gather information Identify and implementing overall program improvements for clients Effectively leverage project resources to accomplish tasks while providing regular feedback and coaching Drive business development activities including RFP responses and proposal development What You Will Need: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university Minimum of 8+ (EIGHT) years of experience in the public sector Minimum of 4+ (FOUR) years of experience in State & Local Government Critical thinking to solve problems and develop innovative solutions to client's management and operational challenges Familiarity with New York City Government practices Strong professional network and/or experience in state and local government in New York City Must currently reside within New York City metropolitan area Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience managing projects and junior & mid-level staff Ability to lead account planning and target new business opportunities that support relevant practice development goals and objectives Ability to travel to client locations, GH Office locations and as needed to support business development activities within and outside of the New York City market What Would Be Nice To Have: Experience managing challenging projects and serving clients Experience facilitating meetings and public speaking with large groups Management consulting skills such as project management, financial modeling, operational modeling, and stakeholder management The annual salary range for this position is $162,000.00-$270,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
