Job Title: Strategy & Communications Process & Implementation Contractor Location: Remote Contract Duration: 9 Months Pay Range: $45.00 - $51.80 USD hourly on W2 Job Description The Strategy & Communications Process & Implementation Contractor role is responsible for designing, establishing, and leading the operational processes, digital system support, and governance for Strategy & Communications team, which includes responsibility for rolling out governance model, system capabilities readiness, and process adherence for Integrated Medical Communication Plan (IMCP) and Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP). This role ensures capabilities translate into measurable productivity improvements and durable behavior change by embedding tools into existing habits, deploying role-based training, establishing feedback loops, and coordinating rollouts across different but interconnected workstreams, including the IEP, Scientific Communication Platform (SCP) and Integrated Medical Communication Plan (IMCP). Job Responsibilities Scientific Communication Platform and Integrated Medical Communication Plan Core Focus Support implementation and operational alignment of the Integrated Medical Communication Plan (IMCP) and Scientific Communication Platform (SCP). Assist in the operational development, implementation, and maintenance of the Integrated Medical Communication Plan (IMCP) across Global Medical Affairs. Coordinate strategic alignment between SCP, IMCP, IEP, and annual planning cycles, enabling a cohesive narrative from evidence generation through external communication. Support SCP and IMCP rollout and change management, including stakeholder onboarding, communications, and training to reinforce new ways of working. Support content intake, governance, and stewardship within SCP, IMCP and other workstreams to ensure accuracy, usability, and consistent adoption of each digital platform Coordinate timelines and stakeholders across intersecting workstreams. Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) Support Role Own the operational design, implementation, and ongoing management of the Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) process across Medical Affairs, serving as the primary operational lead and project process manager. Stand up and manage IEP governance forums, including agenda setting, pre-reads, documentation of decisions, and tracking of actions. Lead rollout and change management for IEP, including stakeholder onboarding, communications, and training. Translate IEP strategy into executable workflows, timelines, and deliverables. Maintain end-to-end visibility of IEP development and execution, proactively identifying risks and mitigation strategies. System Capabilities & Digital Enablement Partner with Strategy & Communications team, IT, Digital, and vendors to define and implement system capabilities supporting SCP, IMCP and IEP digitization. Serve as business owner for IMCP and IEP tools and platforms, ensuring alignment to governance and requirements. Develop and maintain standardized templates, workflows, and guidance within existing systems as well as the new IMCP and IEP digital solution platform. Oversee system rollout, training, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. Assist in documenting current state and defining future state digitization processes Gather user feedback and performance insights to drive continuous improvement of SCP, IMCP, and IEGP capabilities and user experience. Stakeholder Management & Change Enablement Serve as a central coordination point across global and cross-functional stakeholders. Drive change management to support adoption of new processes and systems. Provide leadership with regular status updates, risks, and insights. Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree in drug development or business management. 6+ years of experience in life sciences or project management supporting research needs or workstream rollouts. Proven track record in program management with matrixed teams in health or life sciences. Strategic mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and focus work accordingly. Capability to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful content. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders. Excellent project, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and lead parallel projects. Competence in drug development lifecycle and scientific understanding of assets. Preferred Qualifications Proven leadership in medical operations, project management, process improvement, and project rollout. Formal training or certification in project management methodologies (PMP, Six Sigma, Agile). Experience in developing IMCPs, IEPs or managing complex processes across cross-functional stakeholders. Experience in leading or working closely with leadership governance Successful execution and management of multiple projects supporting life sciences research. Experience with digital technology to support management of planning and evidence generation Able to identify and solve problems autonomously Business acumen with strategic decision-making; adaptable in rapidly changing environments
