    // WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

    We’re looking for a Strategy Director to help inspire and shape the work for one of America’s biggest brands.

    If you’re the kind of person who has a strong foundation in brand strategy, is not just following culture but actively participating in it, has a passion for sports, and care deeply about launching activations that customers love, then this is the job for you.

    Joining us, you’ll lead strategy across major client assignments and partner with a variety of disciplines – business leaders, creatives, designers, and more – to inspire direction that leads to powerful work.

    You’ll report to the VP, Group Strategy Director and have the opportunity to guide a brand who’s newly stepping into a variety of fandoms in a big way.

    // HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES):

    • Be the champion for both the brand and the customer, leading strategy assignments and creative briefs that fuel impactful work

    • Own the work, properly managing projects to a high standard and flagging barriers that get in the way of greatness

    • Inspire teams and clients with well-designed, story-driven presentations that are rich in actionable customer, cultural, and competitive insights

    • Work alongside creatives and designers from idea inception to execution, ensuring our work consistently aligns with business objectives and client priorities

    • Ensure work is properly measured, collaborating with research, analytics, and clients to capture key data and creating digestible performance reports that prove impact

    • Inspire our teams and clients with thought leadership on a regular basis, which could guide existing work or inspire new ideas

    // HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS):

    • Must have 7+ years of experience in brand strategy, working for brand, creative or integrated agency

    • Bachelor’s degree

    • A passion for sports (soccer is a major plus)`

    • Experience managing projects, start to finish, with excellence

    • Mastery of brand strategy elements, like brand positioning, audience profiling, brand architecture, and messaging strategies

    • Excellent storytelling, presentation and creative writing capabilities

    • Experience working with retail brands and/or retailer trade and marketing teams a plus

    • Hands-on qualitative and quantitative research experience

    • Strong foundation of business

      The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $145,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
