RapidScale is building a Risk & Resilience advisory practice designed to help enterprise clients navigate increasingly complex challenges across business resilience, governance, cybersecurity, cloud transformation, artificial intelligence, compliance, exposure management, and operational readiness.

We are seeking a Strategy & Engagement Manager, Risk & Resilience to help shape and deliver this growing advisory capability. This individual will work across client pursuits and engagements helping define complex business problems, structure advisory solutions, lead client workstreams, coordinate subject matter experts, and translate risk and technology challenges into practical strategies and execution plans.

This is not a traditional project management or coordination role, nor is it a purely technical cybersecurity position. The ideal candidate brings a strong consulting and advisory mindset and is comfortable operating at the intersection of business strategy, risk, technology, and transformation.

In this role, you will work directly with enterprise clients and internal experts across security, cloud, AI, compliance, and delivery while also helping build the methods, tools, and intellectual property that will support the continued growth of RapidScale''s Risk & Resilience practice.

What You''ll Do

Client Advisory & Engagement Leadership

• Partner with clients to define and structure complex challenges related to enterprise risk, resilience, cybersecurity, AI, cloud, governance, compliance, and operational readiness.
• Lead advisory workstreams from discovery and problem definition through recommendations, execution planning, and executive readout.
• Prepare and facilitate client workshops with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, risk, compliance, security, and transformation leaders.
• Translate business and technology risks into clear priorities, recommendations, roadmaps, and practical execution plans.
• Develop executive-ready presentations, assessments, recommendations, and client deliverables.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and effectively navigate complex enterprise environments.

Pursuit & Solution Development

• Support opportunity qualification, client discovery, pursuit strategy, and solution shaping for enterprise Risk & Resilience opportunities.
• Develop scopes of work, proposals, engagement approaches, workplans, and supporting client materials.
• Partner with practice leadership on pricing, scope validation, assumptions, resource requirements, and delivery models.
• Help ensure proposed solutions connect client business objectives with risk, resilience, cybersecurity, AI, cloud, governance, and compliance considerations.
• Collaborate with sales teams and technical subject matter experts to translate client needs into compelling advisory solutions.

Engagement Execution

• Develop engagement workplans and lead day-to-day execution across active client workstreams.
• Coordinate subject matter experts across cybersecurity, cloud, AI, compliance, architecture, and delivery while maintaining ownership of the broader client outcome.
• Identify risks, dependencies, decisions, and actions throughout engagements and ensure they are effectively communicated and managed.
• Maintain strong client and executive communication throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Balance multiple pursuits and client engagements in a fast-moving environment.

Practice Development

• Help develop repeatable Risk & Resilience methodologies, frameworks, SOW templates, assessment approaches, and delivery assets.
• Create reusable client- and seller-facing collateral that supports the continued growth of the practice.
• Contribute to seller enablement and help internal teams identify and position Risk & Resilience opportunities.
• Capture lessons learned and translate client engagements into scalable practice capabilities.
• Partner with practice leadership to continue evolving RapidScale''s Risk & Resilience advisory point of view and go-to-market approach.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
• Experience in consulting, advisory services, risk, resilience, cybersecurity, technology transformation, or a related discipline.
• Experience structuring complex or ambiguous business problems and translating them into clear, actionable recommendations and execution plans.
• Experience leading client-facing workstreams or complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Experience developing executive-level presentations, recommendations, proposals, scopes of work, workplans, or other client-facing deliverables.
• Working knowledge of enterprise risk, resilience, cybersecurity, AI, cloud, governance, or compliance concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex business and technology topics to both technical and executive audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a consulting or advisory environment, including experience with Accenture, Big Four, MBB, or a comparable enterprise consulting/advisory firm.
• Consulting experience supporting enterprise clients across risk, resilience, cybersecurity, AI, cloud transformation, governance, compliance, or operational readiness.
• Demonstrated depth in at least two of the following areas: risk, resilience, cybersecurity, AI, or cloud, with sufficient fluency across the others to connect them into a broader business-facing advisory strategy.
• Experience engaging with CIO, CISO, CTO, risk, compliance, security, and/or transformation executives.
• Experience facilitating executive workshops, discovery sessions, assessments, or strategic planning sessions.
• Experience developing SOWs, proposals, pricing approaches, scope assumptions, and engagement models for professional or advisory services.
• Strong executive presentation and slide-development skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, decision-oriented recommendations.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional subject matter experts while maintaining ownership of the broader client problem, workstream, and outcome.
• Experience developing consulting methodologies, frameworks, assessment tools, reusable collateral, or other practice-building assets.
• Experience supporting both pre-sales/pursuit activity and post-sale delivery within a consulting or professional services environment.

Who Will Be Successful in This Role

The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working on complex problems that do not always have an obvious answer. You can walk into an ambiguous client situation, ask the right questions, bring structure to the problem, engage the appropriate expertise, and translate that work into a clear recommendation and actionable plan.

You are comfortable discussing risk and resilience with business executives while also working alongside cybersecurity, cloud, AI, compliance, and technical specialists. You do not need to be the deepest technical expert in every domain, but you understand these areas well enough to connect them, challenge assumptions, and help guide clients toward meaningful business outcomes.

Most importantly, you enjoy building. This role provides the opportunity not only to shape and deliver client engagements, but also to help develop the methodologies, offerings, and operating model of a growing enterprise Risk & Resilience advisory practice.
