Highways Operations is a growing service area within the Place directorate. It is dedicated to delivering a comprehensive service consisting of the construction and maintenance of, and all other works relating to, the public highway and associated assets within Doncaster.

We are currently recruiting for the role of Street Lighting Electrician in Highways Operations to carry out maintenance, installation and periodic testing of Street Lighting assets including columns, signs, bollards, and associated street furniture.

As well as having extensive electrical knowledge and experience of maintenance, installation, and periodic testing of electrical systems you should also be competent in working on the highway, in dealing with traffic management and have a great understanding and knowledge of construction related health and safety issues.
