This role involves extended periods of walking, standing and engaging with emotionally charged situations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms, and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required in this job include close, distance and peripheral vision and depth perception.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed primarily outside on the streets, parks, neighborhoods, and in other unstructured community settings. Duties are performed year-round in all types of weather including extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and high humidity. Work frequently occurs in neighborhoods, streets, parks, alleys, and other non-traditional settings. Conditions may include uneven terrain, limited lighting, loud noise, or crowded public spaces.
