The Flavor Profile
The Street Sales Ambassador is the face of MOIC in the wild, an energetic, magnetic brand storyteller who brings the Museum of Ice Cream experience to the streets of Las Vegas before guests ever walk through our doors. You'll operate our branded ice cream truck, engage tourists and locals alike, distribute product samples and promotional offers, and drive ticket sales through genuine, joyful connection. This isn't a clipboard-and-flyer role — you are the experience.
Your Day-to-Day
- Represent the MOIC brand on the Las Vegas Strip, at AREA15, and at high-traffic tourist and community locations with energy, warmth, and authenticity.
- Operate and staff the MOIC branded ice cream truck during scheduled activations, distributing product samples and promotional offers to prospective guests.
- Engage pedestrians, hotel guests, and visitors in spontaneous, brand-aligned conversations that naturally lead to ticket interest and conversion.
- Drive direct ticket sales by meeting guests where they are — turning curiosity into excitement and excitement into action.
- Collaborate with hotel concierges, hospitality partners, and event staff to seed MOIC awareness and distribute materials within approved venues.
- Capture and share content moments in the field — photos, video clips, and guest reactions — that support social media and marketing efforts.
- Represent MOIC at community events, activations, and pop-up partnerships as assigned.
- Maintain truck cleanliness, product inventory, and brand presentation standards at all times.
- Complete daily activation recaps including guest interaction counts, ticket conversions, and notable field observations.
- Uphold all Nevada food handling guidelines and MOIC brand standards.
Schedule & Availability
- Part-time, seasonal role. Shifts scheduled across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on activation calendar.
- Must be available for the week of July 6th Grand Opening launch weekend.
- Ideal candidates have open availability between June and August 2025.
Pay: $18–$22/hr. base pay, commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Magnetic, outgoing personality with a genuine love for connecting with people from all backgrounds.
- Prior experience in street marketing, brand activation, promotional sales, entertainment, or guest-facing hospitality — Las Vegas experience a plus.
- Proven ability to engage strangers confidently and convert conversations into action.
- Comfortable working outdoors in Las Vegas weather conditions (heat, crowds, variable hours).
- Ability to stand, walk, and be "on" for extended shifts in a high-energy environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-directed — can operate independently in the field without constant supervision.
- Valid Nevada Food Handler Card (or willingness to obtain prior to start — MOIC provides guidance).
- Valid driver's license and comfort operating a branded vehicle or truck in high-traffic areas (preferred).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus given Las Vegas' diverse visitor demographic.
- Smartphone proficiency for content capture, daily reporting, and communication tools.
