ANNOUNCEMENT OF EXTRACURRICULAR VACANCY

POSITION: Strength & Conditioning Coach

LOCATION: Robert Bland Middle School

REPORTS TO: County Strength & Conditioning Coordinator, Athletic Director, and/or Building Administrator

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior strength & conditioning experience and/or High School or Middle School coaching experience required.
• Must be willing to coordinate with the county strength & conditioning coordinator to improve the strength and physical conditioning of student athletes
• Must be willing to establish a general strength and conditioning program that meets the individual needs of all participating students.
• Must be wiling to take directions and recommendations from the county coordinator and head coaches on establishing an effective program
• Must be wiling to attend training sessions as programs become available related to weightlifting and conditioning
• Program must operate, regardless of the number of students for the days and ties delineated

DUTIES:

• Maintain a daily participation log
• Submit a monthly report to the county coordinator related to participation, success and recommendation for improvements
• Advertise schedule in the school, local newspaper and social media
• Coordinate with coaches to promote student participation

SCHEDULE: Monday through Thursday, 3:30-5:30PM

TERMS: June-August; September-November; December-February; or March-May

County Coordinator will determine term assignments for applicants

SALARY: $1,500.00

AVAILABLE: 2026-2027 School Year
