D1 is an athletic-based group training facility for adults and adolescent athletes ages 7 and 18+ with a mission of providing the best training stimulus for athlete sport performance related to sprinting, jumping, and strength training. D1 Coaches implement and instill the D1 training philosophy into every workout. They exhibit the ability to adapt and customize programs in the workouts, in order to tailor them to each athlete. They take a personal stake in the lives of our athletes, maintaining regular contact and monitoring their individual progress toward their goals. Job Summary
Be passionate about COACHING and long term athlete development following proper strength & conditioning principles
Coach 54 minute Group Classes for Adult (18+), Prep (15-18), Developmental (12-14), and Rookie (7-11) age groups
Teach athletes how to properly strength train
Must understand how to modify & regress movements for every age group, for any athlete, during any exercise
Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.
A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s members Scholastic (ages 7-18), Adults, and Teams, by:
Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service
Starting and finishing workouts on time
Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program
Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member
Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams
Delivering accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition
Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe
Qualifications
Has a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or a related field.
Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification
Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NSCA (CSCS, CSC, CFSC).
Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting.
