Summary:
Develops new methods, techniques, form blocks, and other approaches to facilitate straightening and forming.
Adjusts and maintains heat, gas, and hydraulic control systems within maximum and minimum ranges.
Uses test equipment to determine conformity to engineering drawings.
Works on parts of unusual complexity requiring exacting tolerances.
Fabricates and assembles mechanical, structural, or plumbing parts and assemblies.
Operates Stretch Press and Hand Rout equipment.
Performs duties requiring knowledge of complex straightening and forming processes.
Applies test equipment for engineering drawing conformity verification.
Adjusts heat, gas, and hydraulic control systems.
Fabricates and assembles parts with exacting tolerances.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
5+ years of Stretch Press and Hand Rout Operator experience.
Ability to work 2nd shift primarily, and any shift, overtime, or weekends as needed.
Ability to stand and work for an entire 8-hour shift.
Ability to clear background checks and Boeing re-hire checks (if former Boeing worker).
Knowledge of developing new methods and techniques for straightening and forming.
Experience adjusting and maintaining heat, gas, and hydraulic control systems.
Experience using test equipment to verify conformity to engineering drawings.
Experience working on parts with unusual complexity and exacting tolerances.
Experience fabricating and assembling mechanical, structural, or plumbing parts and assemblies.
