STRETCHMED® is hiring for part-time stretch therapist! We are looking for health & fitness professionals that want to GROW with an exciting 1-on-1 stretch studio in Winchester MA. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in functional movement and corrective exercise, believes in the huge benefits of assisted stretching and can communicate this to current clients and new clients to build the membership.
STRETCHMED® is a 1-on-1 assisted stretching program that uses a combination of 36 PNF and static stretching techniques to eliminate chronic pain, increase mobility, rejuvenate, and help you move well! Our Certified Stretch Therapists (CST) will work with clients in 1-on-1 stretch sessions, anywhere from 1 to 4 times a week, depending on your needs. Each stretch therapist goes through the specific STRETCHMED® Certification.
Position Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
Have a certificate, license, or degree in a field related to exercise science (i.e. certified personal trainer, licensed massage therapist, athletic trainer, kinesiologist, yoga or pilates instructor, group fitness instructor, or physical therapy assistant)
Have a passion for health and fitness,
Enjoy working with people,
Be proactive, driven, and self-motivated,
Sales and customer service background with proven track record of building a book business.
Creating, nurturing, and supporting affiliate relationships
Establish community event and affiliate pop-up opportunities
Have a positive attitude and pleasing personality
Be proactive and show initiative
Take ownership of building a personal book of business for clients.
Must be able to stand for extended periods while physically manipulating clients through a passive range of motion with periodic resistance, in order to administer the proprietary STRETCHMED® stretch protocols.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good understanding of anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems,
Ability to learn quickly and follow systems

No prior stretching experience is needed! We provide all training for you to become a STRETCHMED® - Certified Stretch Therapist (CST) as part of our online course.
