Stroke Program RN Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications:

1 of the most recent 3 years’ experience performing Joint Commission reporting duties for a stroke program

One of the following:

• BSN and 1 of the most recent 3 years’ experience performing acute stroke care duties
• 3 of the most recent 5 years’ experience performing acute stroke care duties

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

BLS

One of the following:

• Current Alabama RN license
• Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*

Desired Qualifications:

MSN

Desired Licensure/Certification/Registration:

CCRN 

Achieves and maintains the Joint Commission stroke certification status and maintains core statistics. Strives to improve awareness, access and response to acute stroke care.
