Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret or Top Secret clearance after start

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Lead structural design, analysis, integration, and documentation efforts
Develop and validate structural requirements and system designs
Perform structural integrity analysis using:
Finite Element Modeling (FEM)
Simulations
Hand calculations
Support testing activities:
Test plans/configurations
Test execution
Results analysis/reporting
Support certification documentation for customers and regulatory agencies
Investigate structural failures and recommend improvements
Develop analytical tools/processes to improve engineering efficiency
Work with minimal supervision in a lead capacity
Requirements:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret or Top Secret clearance after start
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent experience
10+ years of structural analysis experience
8+ years analyzing:
Primary structures
Subsystems
Weapons systems
in the aerospace industry
Experience with:
CAD tools: PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, NX/Teamcenter, CATIA/ENOVIA
FEM tools: PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks, Abaqus
MS Office
Hand calculations
Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
