The work
- Execute MIG welds on aluminum, structural steel, thin-core materials, and steel tubing
- Cover a thickness range from 16 gauge up to 1/4"
- Set up and operate welding equipment without assistance
- Read, interpret, and build to shop drawings and blueprints
- Verify all dimensions using calipers, tape measures, and height gauges
- Meet and maintain weld quality to specification
Your background
- Demonstrated MIG experience on both aluminum and steel
- Comfort with an on-site weld test as part of the interview
- Proficient blueprint reading and interpretation
- Accurate, consistent use of standard measuring tools
- Proven ability to work independently in a production setting
