The work

• Execute MIG welds on aluminum, structural steel, thin-core materials, and steel tubing
• Cover a thickness range from 16 gauge up to 1/4"
• Set up and operate welding equipment without assistance
• Read, interpret, and build to shop drawings and blueprints
• Verify all dimensions using calipers, tape measures, and height gauges
• Meet and maintain weld quality to specification

Your background

• Demonstrated MIG experience on both aluminum and steel
• Comfort with an on-site weld test as part of the interview
• Proficient blueprint reading and interpretation
• Accurate, consistent use of standard measuring tools
• Proven ability to work independently in a production setting

Preferred

• TIG welding experience

What to expect

• This is a hands-on position—no training will be provided
