The work is often fast paced with multiple ongoing projects and deliverables, including a wide variety of tasks with competing priorities.The ideal candidate will possess strong oral and written communication skills, excellent inter-personal skills for working in multiple group settings, and a strong desire to learn, grow, and succeed. This position is available as an in-office or hybrid schedule.ResponsibilitiesProducingpreliminary and final design plans for multiple jurisdictionsProducingCADD design and detailing of contract drawings using Microstation and or AutoCAD Civil 3DCreating exhibits to be used at client meetings and interviewsReviewing shop drawings, erection procedures and performing construction administration dutiesReading and interpreting agency standard drawings and specificationsPreparing documents for federal, state and local permitsMinimum RequirementsAssociates degree in CADD Technology or Drafting2 - 4 years experience in structural designExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicrostationExperience working with Caltrans is a plusFollowing an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.BenefitsKleinfelder, and its' subsidiaries and affiliates, offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid holidays. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
